Where to Start if Your Trucking Company is a Victim of Fraud:

• Notify your bank and credit card companies
• Contact law enforcement and your insurance company
• Alert factoring companies, load boards and customers
• Confirm your company’s information at FMCSA
• File a report with the FTC
• Contact the email service provider of the fraudulent email account (ex Gmail) and have the email shut down
• Contact the Office of the Inspector General at DOT: https://www.oig.dot.gov/hotline
• Search load boards to see if you can find the load and then contact the original broker
