Running a trucking company has never suffered from a shortage of things to do. This is why MYSTC was created in the first place. The goal has always been to give small trucking companies access to technology that makes the business easier to manage—without making the technology itself another job.
Over the past year, we’ve continued investing in MYSTC and adding tools that solve real problems for trucking companies. That includes a completely redesigned mobile app, a new Equipment Maintenance Module and continued growth of the MYSTC Freight Exchange.
An App Built With Drivers in Mind
We’re excited to roll out a completely redesigned MYSTC mobile app. With a cleaner design and easier navigation, the new app makes it simpler for drivers to access assigned loads, stops, routes and dispatch information right from their phones. Drivers can provide updates from the road and photograph and upload bills of lading, proof of delivery and other load documents directly to the appropriate load. This gets information back to the office faster and keeps paperwork organized.
The redesigned app is more than a fresh look. New features and improvements make communication between drivers and the office easier, helping reduce calls, texts, emails and paperwork while keeping everyone connected.
Keeping Maintenance Records Where They Belong
We’re also introducing the new MYSTC Equipment Maintenance Module, giving users a centralized place to manage maintenance records for their trucks and trailers. Instead of relying on paper files, spreadsheets, invoices or memory, companies can keep a clear history of work performed on each piece of equipment.
Users can establish maintenance schedules based on mileage, dates and service intervals, helping them stay ahead of routine maintenance and identify equipment that may require more frequent attention. Over time, this information also provides a clearer picture of maintenance costs and equipment performance.
It’s another way MYSTC brings important information together in one place, making day-to-day operations easier to manage.
The Freight Exchange Keeps Growing
The MYSTC Freight Exchange continues to grow as well, and we’re excited about where it is headed. The Freight Exchange connects MYSTC users with available freight from participating NASTC Best Brokers. For small carriers, another source of quality freight is valuable by itself. But having that freight connected to the same system being used to manage the operation makes it even better.
As more freight becomes available through the Exchange, the value of the network continues to increase. Instead of treating finding freight and managing freight as two separate jobs, we’re working to bring those pieces closer together. The idea is pretty simple: find it, book it, dispatch it, deliver it, invoice it and get paid. The fewer places you have to go to accomplish all of that, the better.
Come See What’s New
We’ll be showcasing these improvements and more during our Annual MYSTC Presentation at the NASTC Annual Conference, October 29–31. Each year, the conference gives us an opportunity to show members what we’ve been working on, demonstrate new features and give everyone a better look at where MYSTC is headed next.
If you can’t make it to the conference, we don’t want you to miss out. We will also host two membership-wide MYSTC webinars on Tuesday, November 3, and Tuesday, November 10, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. We’ll walk through the latest updates and give members an opportunity to see the new tools in action from wherever they are.
More information about the conference presentation and webinars, including how to participate, will be sent out as we get closer to the dates.
Building a Better MYSTC
MYSTC has always been shaped by the trucking companies that actually use it. As their businesses change, the software has to change with them. We’ll continue listening to our members, improving the platform and looking for ways to eliminate unnecessary work.
Trucking already gives you plenty to worry about – your software shouldn’t be one of them.
